Chicago Product Photography Studio
Chicago Product Photography Services
Every project runs through a single team in a single studio. No handoffs, no subcontractors, no explaining your brief twice. Whether you're bringing in 10 SKUs or 200, you get a consistent process from the first conversation to final delivery, with imagery that performs on Amazon, converts on product pages, and holds up in print. With more than two decades of commercial work behind us, we know how to get there efficiently.

Brands We've Worked With

Good product photography is often the first thing a customer notices: it drives the click, builds brand trust, and makes the difference between a scroll and a sale. Our Chicago studio handles projects of all sizes, from a focused one-day ecommerce shoot to full campaign productions that run across multiple sets and shooting days.
Everything runs through our single studio in Chicago's West Town neighborhood. One team, one process, no handoffs.

Commercial
Commercial photography is built around a concept: a campaign look, a brand story, a specific visual direction. It typically involves more pre-production, set design, and creative thinking about how the image will be used in advertising or brand contexts. We've spent over 20 years helping brands get that first impression right.

Lifestyle
Lifestyle photography puts your products in real-world and styled settings. Our West Town studio can be configured for a wide range of scenarios: kitchen and bathroom setups, styled flat lays, tabletop scenes, and more. For shoots that require a specific real-world environment, we can also work on location around Chicago.

Ecommerce
Ecommerce photography is about efficient, consistent catalog imagery: clean backgrounds, accurate product representation, and specs that meet platform requirements. Amazon-ready, web-optimized, and delivered to spec. Many brands combine ecommerce shots with lifestyle setups in the same day to maximize output.

On White
Clean, pure-white background photography that meets the exact specs required by Amazon, major retailers, and brand style guides. Consistent lighting, sharp edges, and accurate color across every shot in your catalog. The standard for product imagery that needs to perform at scale.

Softgoods
Apparel, bags, bedding & fabric-based products
Softgoods photography covers any product with a fabric or flexible structure: apparel, bags, bedding, pillows, towels, rugs, and similar items. These products require specific handling and lighting to show texture, drape, and structure accurately. We also offer on-figure work, including ghost mannequin and live model photography.
See Softgoods and Apparel WorkWhat types of product photography services do you offer?
It depends on what you're making and where the images are going. Most brands need some combination: ecommerce shots for Amazon and retail, lifestyle images for social and campaigns, and sometimes commercial work for launch moments or brand campaigns. Softgoods brands add apparel and fabric work on top of that. We'll help you figure out the right mix during a quick call. It doesn't have to be complicated.
What's the difference between commercial and ecommerce photography?
The shortest version: ecommerce answers "what is this product?" Commercial answers "why does this product matter?" Ecommerce shots are clean, spec-compliant, and built for scale. Commercial work is built around a concept: a specific visual direction, set design, and intentional creative choices about how the image will be used. Most brands eventually need both. The good news is you don't have to choose: we can cover both in a single day's shoot when planned correctly.
Do you shoot lifestyle photography in studio or on location?
Both. Our West Town studio can be configured for a wide range of lifestyle scenarios, from kitchen and bathroom setups to styled flat lays and tabletop scenes. For shoots that require a specific real-world environment, we can also work on location around Chicago. The right call depends on the look you're going for and what your budget allows. We'll work through that together during pre-production.
What is softgoods photography?
Softgoods photography covers any product with a fabric or flexible structure: apparel, bags, bedding, pillows, towels, rugs, and similar items. These products require specific handling and lighting to show texture, drape, and structure accurately. We do offer on-figure work, including both ghost mannequin and live model photography.
Can we combine multiple types in one day?
Yes, and it's often the most efficient way to build out a complete image library. A common approach: on-white ecommerce shots paired with styled lifestyle setups in the same day. You leave with two distinct types of imagery from a single shoot. The key is planning it properly in pre-production so transitions between setups are smooth and nothing gets rushed.
Do you provide creative direction?
Yes, and we do this for brands of all sizes. Not every company has an in-house creative director or the budget to bring in an agency. With over two decades of commercial experience, we can guide you through visual direction, set design, and aesthetic decisions in a way that serves the business goal behind the imagery. Tell us what brands inspire you, what you want to avoid, and who your customer is. That's enough to build from.
What kinds of brands do you work with?
We work across a wide range of categories: CPG and packaged goods, beauty and skincare, home goods and textiles, apparel and accessories, food and beverage, tech accessories, fitness and wellness, and more. Brand size ranges from emerging direct-to-consumer labels to established national brands. What the best clients tend to have in common is knowing what they need their photography to do.
